Crime Solver Community Outreach
Spotsylvania Crime Solvers participates at many functions in conjunction with Spotsylvania County and the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.
1) Spotsylvania Crime Solvers staffs a booth at the Annual Crime Prevention Day to spread the word about the program. The display contains newspaper articles that have been in the local paper, The Free Lance Star, showing how a tip to the anonymous tip line helped solve a crime. We also have brochures explaining the program and pens, pencils, etc. given out to the public with the tip line numbers.
2) National Night Out - Spotsylvania Crime Solvers participated in the 2007, 2008 & 2009 National Night Out with our booth to spread to word of our program.
3) Spotsylvania Crime Solvers also staffs a booth at the annual Spotsylvania Stars and Stripes celebration (July 4th celebration).
